In the software package SolidEdge, it is possible to generate a workshop drawing directly from a 3D model, by using the Create Drawing command. It is possible to automatically retrieve the dimensions from the 3D model, do the cross sections, insert the qualities, tolerances of shapes and positions, etc. Dimensions on the workshop drawing are automatically changed with the changes of the 3D model, by using the Update View command.
